This Roadmap summarises significant outputs generated throughout the three-year eDNAqua-Plan project. These outputs, particularly the eDNAqua-Plan Blueprint, contain the detail and justification that guided the development of this Roadmap.

The eDNAqua-Plan Sustainability Plan considers how to ensure the long-term sustainability of eDNAqua-Plan’s vision through proposed institutional adoption, governance models, diversified funding strategies, and stakeholder engagement. In doing so, it also builds upon the landscaping and gap analyses, and the technical and strategic foundations developed across eDNAqua-Plan’s work packages. This Roadmap should not be considered in isolation from the Blueprint or the Sustainability Plan.
